Causes of Closed Caption
- Pressed "CC" Button on TV Remote
- Turned On Closed Caption in TV Menu

Single TV
- Press the "CC" button on the TV remote control.
- Go into the TV menu and turn OFF caption feature.
- Go into cable box menu
- Power off the converter box
- Select "menu" on the box
- Hold the button until diagnostics comes up
- Change the Closed Caption option to the desired setting
If you cannot find TV remote or cannot locate caption in menu, refer to your manufacturer or owners manual.
NOTE: A trip charge may apply if you request a technician to come to your house for this issue. Wire maintenance does not cover customer equipment.
