My Account

What am I able to do with My Account?

Creating a My Account gives you the opportunity to pay and view your bills, as well as manage your own account online. Additionally, if you have phone service with Charter you are able to view your phone call usage online.

 

My Account Tabs

 

The tabs allow you to easily navigate to the following:

 Overview 

  • Contains your Bill Summary with Statement Balance
  • Internet Services & Tools if you have Charter Internet

 My Bill  
 

  • Also known as Charter ePay or Pay Bill Summary
  • Pay each month or set up Auto Pay.
  • View/Print up to 6 months of bills (Telephone Call Details).
  • View Recent payments and Pay-Per-View/Charter OnDemand purchases.
  • Choose paperless statement only.
 My Profile
  • Manage your Username, Password, Secret Question and Answer.
  • Manage your primary contact email address.
 My Service
  • For customers whose account begins with 8, we are now able to provide the ability to view current services and technician installation/change of service appointments.

  • Download and manage your Charter Security Suite™. Learn More
  • Create and manage charter.net email Usernames and Passwords.
  • Create and manage your personal web space.

How do I register?

To register, follow the steps below:

  • Click here or go to www.charter.com/myaccount and click "Create Account" to register your My Account.
  • Enter your 4-digit Security Code and your 16 or 19-digit Charter account number.

  • Click Create Account button.
  • Type your preferred Username and Password in the required fields.
  • Select a Secret Question and type your preferred Answer.
  • Click the Register button, and you are ready to access the My Account Overview.  Click here for username suggestions and character requirements.  Your charter.net email address cannot be used as a My Account username.

Who can register?

If you are an active Charter customer, you may register to use My Account. You will need your security code from your paper statement and account number to create a login.

Why do I need to notify Charter of a change to my email address?

The email address you provide is used to send a notification when the monthly statement is ready to be viewed or to confirm payment processing.

What should I do if I forget my Username or Password?

  • If you forgot your Username, chat live now or contact customer service at 1-888-438-2427.  You will be asked to provide your Security Code or your personal information number (PIN).

    Your charter.net email address cannot be used as a My Account Username.
  • If you forgot your Password, click Forgot Password and enter your Username, select your Secret Question and type your Secret Answer in the spaces provided. If this information matches, you will be routed to a page so you may change your password online.

How do I change My Account password?

You can change your Password by selecting the My Profile tab after you login in to My Account. After you input your new password, the system will require that you retype the new password and type the old password in order to create a new password.

How do I change my security question and answer?

You may change your security question and answer by selecting the My Profile tab after you login to My Account.

How do I change my contact email address?

You may change your contact email address with the My Profile tab after you login in to My Account

How do I add or change my charter.net email accounts?

You may add or change your charter.net email addresses by selecting the My Profile tab after you login  to My Account.

How do I change a charter.net email account password online?

  • Click here if you have a "My Account" Username
  • Enter your Username in the provided field
  • Enter your Password (Passwords are case sensitive.)
  • Click Login or press Enter
  • If you do not remember your My Account Username please call us at 1-888-438-2427.
  • If you do not remember your My Account Password, click "Forgot Password" link and enter your Username, select your Secret Question and type your Secret Answer in the spaces provided. If this information matches, you will be able to change your password on the My Profile tab.
  • After you have successfully accessed My Account, select Internet Services & Tools tab
  • Click Edit on the charter.net email address you wish to change the username and/or password
  • Click Save to update your changes

How do I delete a charter.net email address?

You may delete any or all email addresses by selecting the Internet Services & Tools tab after you login to My Account at www.charter.com/visitors/login.aspx.
