How do I redeem my coupon?
- Go to www.Charter.com/coupon and login to My Account*
- Click on the "Coupon Code?" button at the bottom of the screen
- Enter the 10-digit coupon number from your coupon and click Redeem
Please allow 24-48 hours after service installation or On Demand/PPV purchase for the activity to post to the billing system before redeeming your coupon. The system will validate your coupon and apply the adjustment to your bill. You can click on the printer icon to print the confirmation as a receipt for your records. Using My Account is the easiest, fastest and most secure way to redeem your coupon and establishing a login and password for My Account is easy. However, you can also bring your coupon to a Charter Sales and Service Center or call Customer Care and we’ll help you redeem your coupon.

What if I enter my coupon number and it doesn’t work?
If the coupon is not valid, you will see an error message that explains why it failed. The two most common causes for failure are:
- The conditions of the coupon have not yet been met (for example, your new subscription to Charter Phone must be installed and posted to the billing system, which may take 24-48 hours after the installation, before the coupon can be redeemed) or
- The digits in the 10-digit coupon number were transposed when they were entered. If you get an error message, please ensure the 10-digit coupon number that was entered matches the number on the coupon.
After entering the coupon number, the message said the coupon was active / inactive / expired / redeemed. What does this mean?
- Active: the coupon may be redeemed (once conditions have been met)
- Inactive: the coupon is no longer active and is not redeemable
- Redeemed: the coupon has already been redeemed and is no longer redeemable
- Expired: the expiration date has passed and the coupon is not redeemable
- Coupon not found: either the number was entered incorrectly or the coupon’s redemption or expiration occurred more than 90 days ago
How can I get a receipt after I’ve redeemed my coupon?
The confirmation screen that you see after you redeem your coupon can be printed as your receipt by clicking the printer icon. The screen will include a confirmation number, the coupon number and description, the value and the redemption date.
When will I see the credit appear on my bill after I redeem a coupon?
The adjustment will impact your account within 24 hours of the coupon being redeemed. The adjustment will appear on your next bill unless you receive your bill within 5 – 7 days of having redeemed your coupon, in which case the adjustment will appear on the following bill.
How long does it take to redeem a coupon?
Redeeming your coupon through My Account should only take a few minutes but can only be done after the activity has been posted to your account; this may take 24-48 hours after installation or On Demand / PPV purchase. The coupon must be redeemed within the redemption period after the offer has been satisfied and the adjustment will impact your account within 24 hours.
Where is the coupon number?
The coupon number is the 10-digit number printed in large type on the coupon.
Can I mail my coupon back with my bill payment?
There are several ways you can redeem coupons:
- Online at www.charter.com/coupon (through My Account);
- Take it to a Charter Sales and Service Center for online access to My Account or an agent at the Service Center can redeem it for you;
- Call Charter Customer Care and have an agent redeem it for you.
- If you return the coupon with your bill payment, we cannot ensure your coupon will be redeemed and there will be no means for you to show that you have submitted a coupon.
Do I need to establish a login and password in My Account to redeem my coupon?
Using My Account is the easiest, fastest and most secure way to redeem your coupon and establishing a login and password for My Account is easy (for instructions on how to do it, click here ). It also enables you to print a receipt showing you have redeemed your coupon. However, you can also bring your coupon to a Charter Sales and Service Center or call Customer Care and we’ll help you redeem your coupon.
