Connecting Additional PCs with InstaLAN

To add other computers to your Charter Wireless Home Networking service, run the same InstaLAN software from the CD provided at time of install or the file you downloaded.

Click Add to connect additional PCs.

Be sure to select the”Wired” tab if the computer is connecting to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.

If your connection will use a built-in wireless adapter (i.e. in a laptop) or external wireless USB adapter leave it on the”Wireless” tab. The NEXT button will highlight once the wireless adapter is recognized. Click NEXT to continue.

Select the Wireless Network name of your wireless home network. Enter the password and click NEXT.

If the following error appears insure the Wireless Network name and password are correct.

The following screen shows that the additional computer has been successfully added.
